M Series
The SONAbeam M series, designed with carriers' needs in mind, is ideal
for medium range high-availability links. Featuring a rugged, cast-aluminum,
environmentally-sealed housing and up to 50 times the power of competing products,
the SONAbeam M series is the toughest, most powerful system currently
available. Quadruple-redundant transmitters, combined with the largest receiver
in the industry, further ensure transmission integrity. The SONAbeam
features an aesthetically pleasing yet practical industrial design - each
aspect of the design serves a specific product function.
E Series
The SONAbeam E series provides cost-effective links for short-distance
applications. The E Series is very versatile, offering support for a number
of different network protocols which makes
ramping bandwidth or switching protocols quick and inexpensive. The E Series supports 10/100 Ethernet, E3/DS3 protocols and
offers the added reliability of clock data-rate recovery (CDR). The SONAbeam
E Series can be easily transported to installation sites making it ideal
for situations that require rapid deployment.
Z Series
The SONAbeam Z series is the latest addition to the SONAbeam family. It is optimized for short-distance applications. The Z supports telecom transmission standards Fast Ethernet , OC-3/STM-1, OC-12/STM-4, Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps) but can also be run in datarate transparent mode allowing users to ramp bandwidth or switch protocols quickly. The Z series features a low-profile, all aluminum enclosure making it suitable for outdoor operation in all weather environments as well as for indoor installation (transmitting through the office window).
