The SONAbeam™ 622-M is optimized for high-availability links from up to 5400 meters (3.4 miles) and supports standard protocols such as OC-12 and STM-4 at 622 Mbps.

With the sturdiness and stability to overcome the elements, the SONAbeam™ M series was designed with carriers' needs in mind. Featuring a rugged, cast-aluminum, environmentally sealed housing and up to 35 times the power of competing products, the SONAbeam™ 622-M is the toughest, most powerful system currently available. Quadruple-redundant transmitters combined with the largest receiver in the industry further ensure transmission integrity.

Higher power translates into greater link range or better weather availability. This results in fiber-like availability at practical link ranges in all weather conditions. The entire SONAbeam™ series includes an SNMP monitoring application that allows users to monitor important system information in real-time.
